Snow: An effortless 20 - 50cm of fresh powder skiing/boarding across our Mount Cook terrain.
Sheltered area's throughout our Wanaka/Queenstown terrain providing great skiing on 10cm of fresh with wind pressed conditions on exposed aspects. Forecasting new snow this Saturday/Sunday.
Weather: A fresh start to the day with significant cloud cover and a few fine breaks. Moisture coming in from the west bringing a chance of light snow showers at higher elevations further west. Northerly winds easing. Freezing Level: 1200m rising.
Outlook: Friday: Mainly fine with light winds, westerlies developing. Freezing Level: 1500m.
Saturday: A cold strong SW on its way, bringing snow to our more western terrain. Freezing Level lowering to 800m.
