Harris Mountains Heli-Ski operates in New Zealand's stunning Southern Alps surrounding the international resort towns of Queenstown and Wanaka and into the Mount Cook National Park region.
Our vast terrain spans numerous mountain ranges all offering something unique, and all affected differently by prevailing snow and weather conditions. It is these variations that allow us to customise your heli-day to suit your skill & experience level, minimise your risk, and maximise your powder adventure! Several of our best skiing /riding locations are deep in the backcountry; we make the extra effort to get you to the best and deepest snow.
Runs vary between 2000 to 3500 vertical feet of treeless skiing in sheltered basins, bowls and wide rolling mountain flanks through to steep and gnarly chutes. Harris Mountain Heli-ski's operations include the famous Harris Mountains and Buchanan's Range, and Mount Cook region, New Zealand’s highest mountain.
